Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

This software platform is operated by Ledger Insurance Agency Inc ("Ledger", "we", "us", or "our"). These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the platform, including any associated websites, applications, and services. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

This platform is intended for licensed insurance agencies, producers, and their authorized staff. You must be authorized to act on behalf of the agency you represent. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during onboarding and keep it updated. Accounts created with false or misleading information may be suspended or terminated.

3. Your account and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Agency owners and administrators may be required to enroll in two-factor authentication. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use or security breach at support@ledgerins.com.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the platform only for lawful insurance agency business purposes. You may not:

• Upload or submit false, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
• Access or attempt to access accounts or data that do not belong to you.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service.
• Use the service to send spam, phishing, or harassing communications.
• Violate any applicable insurance, privacy, or data protection law.

5. Data and confidentiality

You retain ownership of the data you enter into the platform. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display that data solely to provide and improve the service. We handle client and insured data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for obtaining any necessary consents and complying with your own obligations under applicable privacy laws.

6. Service availability

We strive to keep the platform available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control may cause temporary downtime. We may modify or discontinue features with reasonable notice where feasible.

7. Disclaimers

The platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. It is a tool to help agencies organize and submit information; it does not replace legal, underwriting, or compliance advice. You are responsible for reviewing all submissions, documents, and filings for accuracy before they are sent to carriers, clients, or regulators.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledger Insurance Agency Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event.

9. Termination

You may stop using the platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, pose a security risk, or if required by law. Upon termination, you may request export of your data by contacting support@ledgerins.com.

10. Changes to terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be posted at app.ledgerins.com/terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
